Tom Sawyer Questions

1. What do you think went on with the court?

1a. I'm really not sure, that's why I asked the question.

2. Why do you think the author put in all that stuff about the poems and the writing?

2a. I think that the author wanted to describe the kind of people that the authors of the writings were. I think that he wanted to expose a softer side of Huck Finn and the other people.

3. Why do you think that the author put in the Notes at the end of some paragraphs? Did you think that was a good idea?

3a. I think that was because he wanted to explain some unanswered questions, and yeah, I think that is a great idea because, especially in this book, just the writing might not be enough to help the reader understand everything.
