Reflection:
In the book, Flush, a young boy named Noah tries to clear his father's name. His father, Paine, is in jail for sinking a gambling cruise boat because the owner of the gambling boat is supposedly dumping their toilet water into the ocean at night. Noah's task is hard because of many reasons. one, his father has been in jail a few times before for thinks like this. Two, his mother might file a divorce. And three, the owner of the gambling boat, Mr. Muleman, is hiding and not doing anything illegal. In jail, Paine tells Noah to get Lice Peeking, a lazy, drunk, used-to-be guy who used to work for Mr. Muleman until he fired him because he stole his faince. Noah needs him because he knows the truth about the dumping. But when Shelly, Lice's girlfriend (and also Mr. Muleman's old faince) says that Lice is dead. Noah tries to find out if Lice really is dead, and if so, who killed him, and if Mr. Muleman really is dumping his waste.
